Team Spirit and all our employees are pleased to support charities whenever we can. As we get so many requestes we aim to concentrate our efforts on two or three nominated main charities each year, along with smaller practical support to local charities.In 2009 our main chosen charities are Comic Relief and Christie's Cancer Hospital.
Comic Relief Fancy Dress Walk
This year’s Red Nose Day saw Team Spirit complete a sponsored walk around local reservoir Dovestones. As a team we completed 16 laps of the reservoir, one for every year the company has been in business and which works out at over 40 miles.
In true Team Spirit style, the walk was completed in fancy dress, with outfits ranging from Little Britain’s Vicky Pollard to ancient Egypt’s Cleopatra.
We set ourselves a target to raise £1000 for charity, which was well and truely beaten with the final amount raised standing at over £1500.
The whole Team Spirit team would like to thank everyone who sponsored us and helped us beat our target.
Run For Christie's
Our Managing Director Ian is going to drag himself round the 10k Great Manchester Run on !7th May this year in aid of Christie's Cancer Care.
Apparently training has started but from our observations he is just going throught the carb loading stage!
